We offer single use licenses for our games. If you are hosting a few events you will need to purchase one license for each event. If you are hosting quite a few events or want to host events regularly consider our Affiliate Program Below, you'll find important information regarding the commercial use policy of our game themes:
- License Agreement Signing: Within 2 business days of purchase, the purchaser will receive a link to sign the Commercial Use License Agreement. This agreement is essential for legally using our game themes for commercial purposes.
- Single Event Usage: Each commercial use license entitles the licensee to use the purchased game theme for one event only. If you plan to host multiple events, you must obtain a separate license for each occasion.
- Event Registration: Prior to hosting your event, it must be registered with Host A Murder Mystery Party at https://hostamurdermysteryparty.com/register. This ensures compliance with our licensing terms and facilitates communication between us and the licensee.
- License Expiration: The license expires after the specified event date. Continued operation of the game theme after the expiration of the license will render the licensee ineligible for future licenses, and all remaining licenses will be voided.
- Restrictions on Alteration and Sale: Licensees are not permitted to alter or sell any game documents published by Host A Murder Mystery Party. This includes but is not limited to electronic or prepared forms of the game materials.
- Non-Transferability: The license is non-transferable, and the licensee named in the agreement must be present at each event where the game theme is used. Any attempt to transfer the license to another party will result in its immediate voidance.
- Recording and Live Streaming: Recording or live streaming of events using Host A Murder Mystery Party's game themes is strictly prohibited. This includes both in-person and online transmissions.
- Promotional Materials: All online promotional materials must include a statement indicating that the game kit is from Host A Murder Mystery Party, along with a live link to our website hostamurdermysteryparty.com. Similarly, printed materials must include the same statement and web address.
- Copyright Information: Removing the Host A Murder Mystery Party copyright information or logo from any materials is a violation of the license agreement and copyright law. Doing so will immediately void the license without warning.
- Use of Graphics: If you use our graphics for event promotion in any form (e.g., paper print, web, video), you must include a reference that all art is the property of and was provided by Host A Murder Mystery Party.
