The story
Cinco de mayo is about celebrating the victory over French forces in 1862. Today, we honor it all over the world. The town of Alegría however celebrates the best.
Every year the town pulls off the greatest parade that many dream of attending every year. With extravagant colors, beautiful traditional attire, and exiting firework shows, many look forward to this annual event!
This year our new mayor of “La Cuidad de las Alegría” (The Town of Joy ) or Alegría Cuidad (Joy Town) . The town is growing more and more nervous about the event, however. Many don’t think the mayor is capable of pulling off a good event on their own.
Nonetheless, everyone is excited for this years Cinco de Mayo parade! There will be a little something for everyone to enjoy! You do not want to miss it.
